Well, it was a little boring and long. However, it was very soothing and relaxing. It is pretty good music for sleeping. It creates a very nice mood as well. I wish it had a little bit more energy, but I liked the tranquility, though.
5/5 - Strange mix of beautiful music
I am probably biased, I bought this expecting something good. Pol Brennan was at one time a member of the band Clannad, and I love their music, especially when he was a part of them. He comes from a VERY talented family, and can count Enya as his sister.
What strikes me most about this is that it's such a novel idea! Take three men, from completly different backgrounds and cultures (Ireland, China and Japan) put them together in a room and see what they come up with.
That's how this started out, and it works! This is an incredible CD, it's one of the best of in this genre that I have heard, and I listen to it at least once a day (got it on now in fact!)
If you like Enya, Clannad, or music from the Far East this CD is for you. You will be pleasantly surprised.
What I want to know now is why has there been nothing more from them since 1992? |
