| CUSTOMER REVIEWS: | 5/5 - Cruester Swine! This album hella ROCKED! . All the songs on the album kicked ... "Brandon" was a song written and sung by Tommy dedicated to he's newly born son. I would have done the same thing. "Glitter" is a Motley ballet that should not be overlooked. It is up there with "Home Sweet Home". Buy it!
1/5 - Motley Crue: not any good in the 80s, and not any good in the 90s either Everybody keeps saying that the reason this record sold poorly was because it came out in the 90s and couldn't compete with all the grunge and alternative rock that was popular at the time. Well I've got news for all you Motley Crue fans: YOU'RE WRONG! The only reason this CD flopped is because it was a $hitty record by a $hitty band, plain and simple. Even if the grunge trend never occured, you can bet that "Generation Swine" would have flopped, just because Motley Crue is such a $hitty band. The only reason Motley Crue's popularity declined in the 90s is because their music is annoying. All those people who worshipped Motley Crue in the 80s just woke up and realised that this band is annoying, their music is annoying, and that they were making a mistake by ever liking them. Come on Motley Crue fans, quit fooling yourselves. Don't blame the 90s for this band's decline in popularity. Blame the band itself for putting out music that just wasn't any good! It doesn't matter what decade this piece of cr@p came out in. It could have been the 80s, the 90s or even right now, the only reason nobody likes Motley Crue anymore is because none of it is any good. This band stunk from the beginning, their music was never worth a d@mn.
5/5 - Generation Swine Rules!!! Motley rules!!! From Too Fast For Love right up to Greatest Hits the Crue is and always been the best. The only track on Generation Swine that I didn't like was Brandon. I did however, love Glitter. The version of Glitter on Greatest hits was better but the song rules either way. Crue hasn't lost it's touch ever (Of course that doesn't include the period of time when Vince left/was kicked out of the band). Motley Crue is the best band ever to walk this earth and they've always demonstrated their greatness with songs Like Shout at the Devil, Primal Scream, and Wild Side. At the same time they've shown that they're human with songs like Glitter and Home Sweet Home. They are a combo of the best rock n' rollers to ever walk this earth. Tommy Lee: second best Drummer ever next to Peter Cris. Nikki Sixx: second biggest former drug addict next to Steven Tyler. Mick Mars: Second collest beard or mustache and resemblance to an animal next to that dude from ZZ Top with the big beard and Alice Cooper's catfish like resemblance with his make-up on (only Mick does it with his mustache). Vince Neil: Second most high pitched front man ever next to Axl Rose. Generation Swine rules and I hope that their next CD of new recordings is just as good. Long live Motley Crue and remember... enjoy the soup! |
