Prior to purchasing this DVD, I sent an email to the seller asking if it could be played on an American DVD player, as I'm in the States and this was to be a Christmas present. I received a reply stating that, yes, it could indeed be played on an American player. Imagine my embarrasment and anger when my daughter tried to play it on Christmas day, only to be given an error code saying that it could not play discs from that region(UK).
