I returned the Jimmy Webb box set to SSM Music. My costs were refunded, but only after a protracted period of time after the initial transaction.

SSM Music continues to misrepresent the damaged condition of the outer box of the CD boxset, The Moon's a Harsh Mistress: Jimmy Webb in the Seventies. Photos of the box set are attached with this e-mail. I had the box set graded by an Ohio record dealer, and his comments were as follows:

"I finally had a chance to look at the Jimmy Webb Boxset. Below are photos I took of the outer box. The box is torn, shopworn, dirty and has scuffing on both sides. I would rate the box as damaged yet functional. The CDs are like new, no scuffs or other marks indicating wear. I hope that helps. Jim."

Throughout this transaction, SSM Music has been dishonest and irresponsible. His conduct has been despicable and reprehensible.

Sorry, those are lies, the box is in excellent condition with one really minor tear that could have been taped easily, nothing to impede using the box in the future.
Your conduct is despicable. You ordered a used item expecting to receive a new one or a MINT one, which we never advertised.
You will never find this set in MINT or NEW condition at that price, at least not in the next couple of years.
I warned other sellers about your conduct, shame on you!
