SELLER RESPONDED ON 10/09/08:- When you look at our overall feedback, just ask what makes sense. Is CDQuest really an "awful" seller or is this customer wrong in blaming us for a postal issue? Maybe the postal service damaged his disc, but we wouldn't know that before this rant, as he never emailed to allow us to help him out. He decided that this was the place to vent instead of approaching us directly. We have been shipping thousands of orders a day for 11 years, to every corner of this planet without issue. There is nothing wrong with our packing materials, but if a local delivery person drives their truck over a package, anything is possible. But that is an incredibly rare occurrence. By this person's unsubstantiated accusations against us we figure that they live their life with bad karma targeting them. If you live your life in such a bitter, accusatory way, it all comes back. For all we know, he probably ticked off his own postal person, who then decided to mess with him by smashing his cd.

I was pleased to be able to locate this cd after many years of searching. I had it originally on tape which broke and it was one of my favourite live albums. Service was good but I had major problems when I originally chose to pay with Paypal . After a lengthy exchange of emails with cdquest and netsounds I changed my payment method to credit card. However even after I received the cd I contnued to receive emails requesting I pay by Pypal or the order would be cancelled!!!I think it should be made clear you cannot pay through Paypal through your site to help customers decide how to pay.

On April 27th, I was asked if I had received my order, (duh..), on May 16th I'm informed my order was canceled, no reason specified. I've requested a transaction summary from my credit card company. If you don't have it, don't say you do. If you can't get it, let me know. If you have not shipped it, don't ask if I received it.

SELLER RESPONDED ON 30/05/06:- The confusion brought up by this customer, is actually an issue with the Netsounds email system. We have addressed this with them, but unfortunately their system remains the same. So, take this customer review of our service with a grain of salt, because half of this review has to do with Netsounds emails that are beyond our control.

For some reason, I ended up placing an order under their British Website. The site did not specify a language or country as the entire site was in English. I assumed I was on a U.S. site. Once I was billed for my order, the prices doubled in cost as the original order was in BP. I canceled the order once I received the bill. SELLER RESPONDED ON 07/05/06:- Actually, these issues are with the Netsound's system and not accurately about CD Quest's performance. The issues of not being able to report cancellations and the confusing email system have both been addressed with Netsounds and they say that they are working on fixes for these. This order was cancelled just days after it was placed, but unfortunately Netsounds does not provide any sort of order update for the customer. We had done our best to fill this order after the one copy that we had was sold out before this customer's came in.

Seller provided a very hard to find CD at a reasonable price. Actual delivery took a pretty long time (3 to 4 weeks), and would greatly benefit from some kind of "progress reports" , suh as confirming that payment has been received, the order has been shipped, and providing a carrier and tracking number. I would certainly use Seller again if I was trying to get another hard to find item.

We don’t make money unless we sell product, so I am not sure what conspiracy theory this person has in their head that would logically explain how we would benefit from such deception. SELLER RESPONDED ON 22/04/06:- This customer's credit card was declined, so thier order was never opened on our website (WWW.CDQUEST.COM). Unfortunately, Netsounds does not have the functionality to report such cancellations so it takes for the customer to finally ask about an order for the order to be investigated. This customer sent us an email on April 14 and a reply was sent back 7 minutes later explaining what had happened, as well as suggestions for how she could place a new order. This unwarranted review was her next move. I do not understand how her failed credit card lead to us providing "very poor service" or why she is lying about not having heard from us (maybe her spam filter blocked us), but none of this review is at all truthful, except that she has not received her product...which is because she used a bad credit card.

I ordered two CDs, they sent just one, charged me for two. They have not returned any of my correspondance to resolve the problem. The posted CD Quest fax number is wrong on their site. The CDQUEST website does not exist as of March 19 2:00pmEST. I have launched a Dispute with Mastercard to investigate.

Advertised Go Betweens cd Bright Orange etc.. with ltd four track cd. Delivered normal c.d. only. I asked them to forward the additional 4 track cd, they said return the cd. I asked if I would be re-imbursed for postal costs, as the error was theirs, and if the cd I originally ordered was available. This request was made three times and I never received a reply. Would not recommend and will definitely not use again.
