HOW TO SEARCH

Searching on netsoundsmusic.com couldn't be easier. Simply go to the netsoundsmusic.com home page, or click on the "Search" menu item at the top of most pages which will take you to our "Search" facility.

Once there, just type in the artist, title, label or genre that you are looking for, choose a search type, filter on the media that you are interested in, then choose whether to search the entire netsoundsmusic.com database or an individual sellers' offerings. Finally click on the "Go" button and wait for the results to appear!

Once the results appear on your screen you can navigate through the pages by clicking on the navigation bar towards the bottom of the page. Hovering your mouse cursor over the various buttons, icons and graphics will show pop-up text that will explain what a particular button / icon / graphic does. There's a wealth of information on screen to help you decide what to buy so make sure that you explore thoroughly!

Once you begin using the netsoundsmusic.com search system you'll begin to notice the more advanced features like "Top 10 Most Popular Searches", "Your Previous Searches", "Your Favourite Searches" etc. These features are all fairly self explanatory, the best way to get to know them all is simply to have a good play!

If you get bored of seeing some (or all) of the advanced features on your screen then they can be minimised by clicking on the "minimise" icon next to the relevant section, or removed all together by setting your preferences.

You'll notice that by default the netsoundsmusic.com search system groups together items with the same artist / title. This means that there are less results pages to sroll through, and allows you to "drill down" quickly into the items that you are looking for. You can change this default behaviour if wish by setting your preferences.

Look out for the links to create an "Alert Agent" too. These run once every day automatically checking to see if new listings have been added to netsoundsmusic.com that match your search criteria. If they find any an email is sent to you to let you know!

You can also browse the entire netsoundsmusic.com database alphabetically by artist, title, label or genre. Doing so will allow you to scroll through page after page of artists, titles, labels and genres - once you see something that you are interested in simply click on the link and your search will be performed.

For even more powerful search options click on the "Power Search" menu item.
